Solve Climate Needs with BC Technologies

This interactive map presents research-based connections between bioconvergence technologies and pressing climate needs.
Developed by the Israel Innovation Authority, the map integrates insights from over 1,000 peer-reviewed scientific publications to illustrate where emerging biological–technological innovations can address environmental challenges.
Users can explore the landscape from either direction – starting with a climate challenge or with a technology – and uncover evidence-based linkages between the two domains.

How to use the map

• Use the search bar to find a climate need (Blue circle nodes) or a bioconvergence technology (Green diamond nodes).
• Click Focus to center the selected node.
• Click Expand Focus to reveal connected technologies or climate needs.
• Click on a connection line to view an explanation of the linkage, including scientific references and linkage strength.
• Expand further to explore additional related needs or technologies.
